I loved the friendly staff and the fact that it's just a 15-minute walk to the Rijksmuseum, along with a charming park that's perfect for a morning stroll, making it a great base for exploring the city during my stay as a solo traveler.

Renting bikes is a no-brainer here. they’re just 8€ a day, making it easy to get around like a local. Simple, sufficient breakfasts keep you fueled for a day of adventure with basic offerings like tea, coffee, and bread.

Rooms can feel kind of cramped, like trying to squeeze into a starfighter cockpit. space is tight, especially if you've got large bags. The steep, narrow stairs could give some travelers a run for their money—definitely not for anyone with mobility issues. Additionally, the smoke detectors are overly sensitive. a little steam in the bathroom could set them off, which makes keeping the door closed a bit of a sweaty challenge.

Consider requesting a room on a lower floor to avoid the steep stairs, which could be challenging, especially with heavy luggage.

The position of the Bicycle Hotel is fantastic. I could get to so many places on foot, including the canals and local restaurants. The staff really made my stay enjoyable. They were friendly, genuine, and eager to help with any requests. I absolutely loved the breakfast spread. it provided just enough fuel for my mornings without being overwhelming. My room was clean and had a lovely memory foam topper on the bed, making it comfortable after a long day of exploring. The only downside was the steep staircase. I struggled a bit with my luggage, so I wouldn’t recommend it for those with heavy bags or mobility issues. I also noticed that the shared bathroom needed a little more attention in terms of cleanliness. Still, the friendly atmosphere made up for those minor inconveniences, and I would definitely consider returning.
